Real People. Honest Stories.

Films For The Common Good.

We make short documentary-style films that shine a light on the good happening in our communities — from artists and growers to musicians, makers, and local changemakers.—telling stories that often go unheard, but never unnoticed.

Your Story Deserves to Be Seen.

Video Isn’t Optional Anymore
If you’re still relying on leaflets, wall-of-text websites, or well-meaning Facebook posts — it’s time to level up. Video is your frontline storyteller.

1. Business, Donations & Impact Go Up. Way Up.
A powerful 90-second film doesn’t just look good — it works:

  • 72% of donors are more likely to give after seeing your story unfold on screen. (Blackbaud)

  • Purpose-driven brands grow 2.5× faster than competitors. (Deloitte)

  • Social video generates 1,200% more shares than text and images combined. (Forbes)

2. Stories Beat Stats Every Time.
Facts fade. Emotion sticks. A well-crafted film gets straight to the heart — showing real people, real impact, and real change.

3. Built for Attention (Even When People Scroll).
Scrolling thumbs stop at faces. Movement. Emotion. Your story, told in 60–90 seconds, can reach someone on the bus, in the queue, or on the couch — connecting locally or globally.

4. Real Stories, Human Connection.
We focus on people-first filmmaking. Intimate. Reflective. Respectful. Your audience doesn’t just watch — they feel, remember, and share.

It’s not a cost — it’s a multiplier.

About Us

Why We Do What We Do

Common Good Films was born from a simple idea: that everyone has a story worth telling—and that stories, told well, can change how people see themselves, their communities, and the world around them.

We don’t make ads or marketing fluff — we make films about real people, real lives, and real communities. No scripts or talking heads — we just listen, observe, and shape stories from the inside out.

Whether you're a mission-led business, a grassroots project or a national charity, if your work puts people first, we’d love to help you share your story.

Our mission: To shine a light on the good happening around us—one story at a time.

Telling stories, Together.

We’d love to hear from you.
